Pics of new 10-8 HK P30/HK45 rear sight installed

Just got my new 10-8 rear sight installed. A little fitting required but not too difficult to install.

Front is a Dawson Precision .115 fiber optic soon to be replaced with a .125 tritium front from the same company.

Quality of photos isn't great but the best I could do with my cellphone.

You fit it well, and it looks great. I really like the 10-8 rear sight, and I have them on most of my 1911's. I find that they allow fast presentation and quick follow up shots.

I am a big fan of the 10-8 sights and really glad to see that Hilton has released these for the newer HK's. I am planning on picking one up for one of my HK45's. Hopefully the front sights will follow.

Yes, very nice! Thanks for sharing. I too hope they'll come out with some front sights.

What's the POA/POI like with the Dawson front? Wondering if POA/POI is behind the dot like on factory or if it is at the top of the blade.

Thanks. I'm debting between Heinies and a DP front with 10-8 rear sent to Tooltech for tritium.

Just put a 10-8 set on a Glock27 and used their tritium front post. Nice setup. I'm diggin' the U-notch. Might have to do all my pistols up this way if they hold up and function well.

Any issue on a 45C? Supposedly it works with the standard front Hk post...?

They are made for HK45/p30 series pistols. Yes they work with the stock front sight.

They are a nice sight. I just wish they would of come out with a matching front. I just put mine in the for sale section since I am going with Heinies.

HK45c's and P30's use common sights.

Yes, it uses the stock front sight. Consequently, the POI is behind the dot not on top of the front sight like the Heinie.
