    Colt LE6920 in Stock?

Although this is my first post, I have been lurking for some time. I have found a lot of useful information here. Although I kept my RRA varmint rifles, I have sold my RRA Entry Carbine and Mid-Length carbine and am replacing them with 6920s. I have one that I obtained the hard way: separate lower then upper for too much $$.

Does anyone on this board stock 6920s for a reasonable price? I am former Army but am not LE, so I don't qualify for a LE discount. Is one available in the $1250 - $1300 range.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I appreciate any help/advice.

My first post too, everybody! I am happy to report that I bought one about a month ago from Clyde Armory. Two days from them to me here in Vermont. Linky:

That Clyde Armory guy was party to a rather disturbing thread on another forum where someone bought something from him, and he refused to send a copy of his FFL to the receiving FFL, and the poor guy's rifle was held hostage till something was figured out.

The moral of the story? Make sure your FFL will accept guns from other FFL's without a copy. My understanding is he will provide the number for the E check, just wont send a paper copy.

Congrats Critter! You will not be dissapointed. I purchased my 6933 through Clydes and the transaction was flawless and very quick!

I asked my FFL if he would do the transfer and he said "No problem." And it wasn't, nor were all the other transfers he did for me. I read that thread a number of times and for the life of me couldn't understand what it was all about. Perhaps the backstory is not completely known here in the world of intertubes...

So, what's all this I keep getting told about Colt moving up to Canada?

I've been hearing it for over a year now...and still I see 6920's on the market.

What's the deal? I know they bought a facility up there, but where has Colt ever come out and said they're stopping production of their rifles and only building them up in Canada?
