KAC M4 RAS SAS Lower Rail w/clamp - Worth $100?

I used some space aged, hi tech, aluminum foil where the lower rail matches up with the handguard ring. Folded, cut to size, and now the bottom rail has no movement. I don't need it easily removable as I don't have, or plan on having, a grenade launcher.

The remark about the "Psuedo free floating rail" is what stuck in my memory.

I still have a Kac RAS installed on one of my rifles and it is a heavy pig.
