Haha. It needs to hurry up and get here! I hope it lives up to the hype...
Yeah, I came on here about six weeks ago, with much the same question, mine was PSA or S&W
Got to reading, and listening to what you guys had to say, and BOOM!
Bought a sweet 6920 from Grant, (who is a top notch dude) had him upgrade the charging handle, and put on a Noveske Rec. plate.
Thanks to all you dudes for the advice.
Now, should I buy the sardine can of Wolf ammo? Or stick with PMC or Federal ???
Sup yall... First post. I've spent the past few weeks lurking on the sight and finally decided to make a username and post up.
First off, Thanks for this thread in particular.I had a buddy who tried talking me into the same Bushmaster ORC he bought. Luckily I over analyze purchases before I make them and because of this thread I'm the proud owner of a Colt LE6920. Even found one with the sweet rollmarks. Daniel Defense Omega 7 rails should be in this week...
However, yinz bicker like my mom and mother in law at Thanksgiving dinner... Cant we all just agree to disagree?

they are redundant. anyone can click on either of the two search features and see that.
The mistake is thinking that this has anything to do with "I know more about guns than you" and not "you are intellectually dishonest and lazy". Much like you simply can't resist pointing out that I'm "mean" to them, I can't resist pointing out that they are asking stupid questions. Contrary to what they tell us in the first grade, there IS such a thing as a stupid question. This forum has become exhibit A in that case.
I tend to get along fine with people that ask honest questions, after attempting to first answer said questions themselves. It's the guy asking bullshit questions which are really just veiled attempts to make himself feel better, and questions that he could easily answer himself if he were genuinely looking for the answers and not an ego massage, that typically gets upset. "it's not what you say, it's how you say it" strikes me as a receiving problem, not a sending problem.
In looking back over my exchange with this particular special snowflake I can see one sentence I might have left out had I been concerned with his emotional well-being, but I frankly don't think it would have changed the eventual outcome.
I think you made a great choice. Getting the MP will get you a MOE stock vs. the Rogers stock, and I prefer the MOE.
Get yourself enrolled in a training class ASAP. Fixing a guy that has spent months learning bad habits is way harder than teaching him the right way to do things from the get-go. Which isn't to say that there is always one single right way, but right ways are outnumbered by wrong ones by a wide margin.
You'll also want to grab up some magazines (Pmags are a great choice starting out, get 11) and some ammo (Federal XM193 or American Eagle are good mid-grade choices that should work fine for you). I'd suggest grabbing at least 1k rounds of ammo, 2k if you can swing it.
Take your time and make changes and upgrades to the gun as you identify shortcomings based on your use, and as you start to exceed the capabilities of the stock gun.
Good luck! and let us know when it comes in (by posting here or in the picture thread, not by starting a new one)

Best advice I have ever taken, and the best money I have ever spent.
I am a better carbine shooter than I am pistol, and I have been shooting pistol competitively for 5+ years.
2 carbine classes in the 5 months that I have been shooting one, vs. no formal pistol training. My pistol "training scars" became glaringly obvious at my last class.
Avoid high round count classes (over #700 per day). A class that makes you account for every bullet that leaves the muzzle doubles the value of the class.
