ADM, Bobro, or LaRue. You can't go wrong with either one.

    Personally, I prefer the ADM's.

    Buy one and go shoot.

To help with lever stiffness on ADM mounts, I keep a short string of paracord tied in a loop and threaded between the lever and the mount's body I can use to pry the lever open.

On a similar note, will any of these mounts, with a 1-6x SWFA optic, clear a folded rear MBUS? Or does it require the 1.93 height mount for that?

Lana: Do you really want to open this can of trust-breachy worms after I just found you and my ex-boyfriend with a dead hooker in the trunk?

    Cyril: ...I do not.

A 1-4x SWFA in a LaRue LT139 clears a Troy BUIS. I believe the 1-6x will as well.

Should fit over the shorter MBUS2 w/o issue. The sole purpose of the 1.93 was so that a Short Dot wouldn't be blocked by a 12 o'clock rail mounted PEQ2 laser. Some 3 gunners like them because the optic comes up faster.

I prefer Bobro for everything they make mounts for.
I don't understand the comment about being harder to set up initially.
-You put your optic into the mount, loctite and secure the screws, and throw the mount on the rail. They are as easy or easier than any other mount that doesn't involve hose clamps and duct-tape.

For things that Bobro doesn't make make mounts for, I prefer LaRue over ADM (and yes, I do own mounts from all 3 companies). While LaRue mounts might smear off a little bit of your anodizing, they are good to go from that point on. I found that ADM seem to have a wear-in period where they will start off appropriately tensioned, but after a 100 to 200 rounds they loosen up and need to be retensioned. Big deal? Not really, still good to go after the seating time, but when I decide on what mount I am going to shell out $$ on, it goes to LaRue or Bobro.

Thanks for the info, all. I'm going to snag a pair of the new SWFA 1-6x24 optics while the FB deal is still valid, and I wanted to order mounts at the same time. Looks like a Bobro mount for my AR will be accompanying them.

I have owned ADM, LaRue, and Bobro. Bobro is by far my favorite in both fit and finish and design.

Thank you for the replies, but I am still wondering about the one lock vs two lock points in my initial post. It seems many like Bobro, but wouldn't the two locks be better on the adm? Two better than one? I am looking for the reason why it is not since some of you look over that (not that you do not know) when choosing bobro over adm....

I know this is a couple months old, but felt this may be a worthwhile addition for future readers:

    ADM RECON-S QD Mount Review

    Bobro QD Mount Review

I really like the fact that the Bobro required no adjustment and had an exceptional return to zero.

I have a LaRue mount here. That will be tested next.
