Modern and well made MIM parts are fine for low tension/stress parts. For example, HK uses high quality MIM in their polymer framed pistols with extraordinary durability and service life.
It is true that the PRO uses some MIM parts including: slide stop, firing pin stop, mag catch, and disconnector. I've heard of no systemic issues with these parts, nor have I experienced issues with either of my two PRO's.
Having said that, the current rendition of the CQB is probably a more refined gun. I'd have no problems carrying the CQB into harm's way.
