M4A1 (or avaliable select fire equivellant (probably Colt A1 or A2))
and
Glock 19

I wouldn't even call it a choice....

Actually funny thing is if I only had two I could probably afford an M4. I'd have to move to a free state though.

My first would definitely have to be my first AR build from spikes lower and bcm mid-length upper all parts were milspec or better, chambered in 5.56x45 . My second is my Glock 17. This will cover me for defense and hunting game up to moose.

I would REALLY like to say SCAR17 but with an AR I have a more-or-less endless supply of spare parts, magazines, and ammo out there in the world. And now that I'm thinking of that, as much as I dislike the .40, a Gen 3 G22 might be better because of the prevalence of the ammo and the gun itself.
