Sure would be nice to see some more Bravo Company middies coming out...

    How about that new company...ADS?

Maybe Grant could persuade those guys to crank out some middies...
and leave out the M203 steps on the barrel?

Given their specs they sound like the ideal candidates to put out a middie
with all the right stuff for a good price.

DD should make a pretty interesting upper ....

Just about how long is "shortly" anyway....

I am on the waiting list for a BCM mid length upper - would any on these mid-length uppers be as good or better? Or do I just need to continue to wait?

BCM middies would be fantastic, but is not going to happen any time soon.

ADS is going to make a middy barrel as well, but they are some time out I believe.

I personally think the M203 step is stupid and a poor idea UNLESS you actually own a M203.

I do not think they would be as good as (just because BCM uses higher end steel), but unless you are shooting FA, you would never know the difference.

Thanks. I am trying to hang in there, but dang. This would be my first "real" civilian M4 - I don't have anything to fall back on while I wait.

How long have BCM uppers been out-of-stock now? Seems like it's been well over a year. I just don't understand why it is taking so damn long to get production rolling again. I though they opened up a entire shop and everything just for producing they're guns. It doesen't seem like a good sign to me and I'm having a hard time believing they're going available after all this time.

I don't know how far down the list I am, but I've been on the waiting list for a both BCM AND Sabre Mid-length uppers for 1.25 years (Nov 06). Not complaining, though. I knew it would be awhile when I signed up.

I DID find a midlength complete Sabre gun at the FUN store today (model#90101) and picked it up.

I will continue to wait for the BCM upper, and hope to get a DD upper when they are available.

RAM Engineer, Sabre barrels are currently available. There's nothing special about forged uppers, so have an armorer you trust assemble the barrel into an upper, and you'd be good to go. Every day that goes by and BCM uppers are still MIA, I get closer to just springing for a Sabre barrel.
