    Boresighting a scope?

I have just bought a Leupold Rifleman 3-9x50mm Riflescope for my DPMS 308
m4 and I'm not sure how to boresight it. If anyone can info me on the proper way to do it I would greatly appreciate it.

The easiest way is to seperate the upper from the lower and remove the bolt carrier group and lay it on something flat and level. Then turn the scope to it's lowest power and look through the bore at something about away. Not touching the upper then look through the scope. If necessary adjust the knobs until you get it in alignment with the bore, it's rough but it works to get you on paper.
