What case this that ? looks like it fits well in it

Good job, looks like every other AR out there and most likely runs as well. Don't worry about paying more for parts that give nothing more as far as performance goes. The ones you have will work just fine. All you need now is the ammo to play with.

i think i got the case on midwayusa? i love it. super compact. easy to assemble the rifle. holds everything i need.

i also just got a cheap eotech replica magnifier. I will report back with my results ...

Because he didn't know better. In addition he could have bought a Colt 6920 or a complete BCM upper and coupled it to a good lower for less or equal money.

Bottom line is he got some crap parts and got screwed.

How can you encourage someone on a build that cost almost what a box Colt 6920 costs? I don't get it.

You need to study your AR history to find out why they were added. It has nothing to do with the M16 or an M16A4. It is unique to the carbine.

I have this combination based on the ability to get the parts extremely cheap from some friends of mine... Just the upper and lower. So I guess I can see where your uninformed and less than productive attitude is coming from. But it was more economical to purchase the parts that I have than to get anything else.

I am here to be educated. I am constantly reading new threads to learn more and better myself. I don't pretend to know it all.
