    SBR on AK-74

I'm wanting to put an UBR stock on my ak but I didn't know if I could just use a VLTOR tube(the one that just mounts with the tang) or do I need to use the ace adapter like I've read about in so many other forums

I'd rather go with the VLTOR option because the ace requires tang modification

What do you mean by "SBR Stock?"
Generally "SBR" means "short barreled rifle" and is in reference to any firearm with a stock that has a barrel length below 16".

I'm sorry in my haste to post the thread I forgot to read over it. I meant UBR (the stock from magpul) and I suppose the spell check on my phone liked SBR better than UBR. Anyways sorry for that piece of confusion and thank you for replying.

The UBR has its own internal buffer tube. You're gonna have to go with an ACE adapter.

Just cut it and file off the burrs. It takes about 5 minutes and is retarded caveman simple. Hack saw or dremel will do fine. Theirs a million how to's available on the net. Your going to need a receiver block and this. Witch receiver block you choose will depend on what type of receiver you have.
