Help needed with FSB/gas block selection, BCM M4

I personally like the 1/3 in case it goes down you can run without it

I would keep the FSB and just switch to a lower 1/3 mount. With this setup, the FSB ears are just barely visible.

This, hands down. You won't even notice the FSB when you're shooting. The height over bore difference between a lower 1/3 and full cowitness mounts is negligible.
