This came back today from SACS.

Fighting guns should be boring and predictable.
Training to use them in a fight should not.
You sent a Colt to SACS? HaHaHa![]()
Pistol looks great, they did a fantastic job. Which MW is that pictured ? List the options if you do not mind.
The MW has a ridge right where the MW & MSH meet so it appears to me it is not a SA (SA MSH sits flush to the MW). Resembles a Baer or WC to me.
When she first came into my life she was a used XSE that was a little worse for wear on the outside, but an excellent shooter out of the box.
So, I sent her in, with parts I'd collected from Brownell's, Midway and Dawson:
- Ed Brown Slide Stop, Ambi Thumb Safety, Grip Safety and ext'd mag release
- S&A Magwell (they did the contour)
- 10-8 grips
- Harrison Design Plunger Tube
Over there, they also fitted
- New Firing Pin Stop
- Novak Tritium Front Sight (they blacked out the original Novak Rear for me)
- Complete reliability package
- 25 LPI frontstrap checkering (this is what pushed an otherwise 2 months job into 13 months)
- Mild Carry Bevel
- Parkerized entire pistol

It is a one-piece.
I just took inspiration off the contour job I'd seen on guns that Vickers has built. SACS was kind enough to oblige me a similar contour.
