    I've been into 1911's longer than AR's and cannot wait till my next one, probably a Nighthawk, but until then these two will do!!


    My Springfield I shoot in Single Stack division of USPSA. Just got it back from Coal Creek Armory with a new Isonite QPQ finish.


    An Auto-Ordanance I got as a project. It started as a regular GI model I got for cheap and is now what you see. I purchased just so I could tear apart and tinker with it and have learned a lot from this firearm.

    Matt, what do you call the Grip treatment on front strap & mainspring housing ? I like it and it looks grippy and not course like 20 & 30 checkering. Please list parts add and custom work that Matt did to it?
