Pick any two.
Bowling pin season is coming up:
I did use enough comp.... and yeah, maybe a little too much
I'll just put it this way, the next one will probably not be bigger.
What'd ya put on those things, Ned, kitchen sinks? :P I was toying with the idea of putting a linear on a .45 Super longslide I'm penciling out--less for recoil than muzzle flash and blast-direction--and Ian at KVP mentioned concerns about having anything as heavy as most of his on a 1911 muzzle without a Neilson device or similar. (This is one that Patrick Sweeney gave me advice and encouragement on many years ago, in a prior run at the concept that never made it to hardware.)

When I did the first one of these I thought I might have to fab some kind if decoupler for it or graft one on but I have managed to get them light enough to function without. Not ruling it out for the next one though although now that Delrin has been done I was thinking maybe cardboard :-) ....
As a fellow Norseman, might I suggest the next megacomp be built around a Mjolnir design?

As an impulse buy, I picked up this old school '73 Colt Custom recently and brought it home to Colorado from it's unknown worldly travels. The custom maker, "R I Martel, Denver, Colo" seems to be a mystery man, so possibly finding info about him will be part of the fun of owning this pistol. If anybody happens to have any info about him, could point me in the right direction, or give me a clue, I'd be thankful.
