This was a package deal that Remington put together back in 2014. An Advanced Armament "branded" Remington R1 with the Ti-Rant suppressor in a neat Pelican case. I know the Remington 1911 was not reported to be the finest example of the platform, but I have always wondered if Remington put any extra effort into these pistols because it's been flawless over a couple thousand rounds. But I bought it because I dig the skull and crossbones.
