Ordered some Alumagrips with their "aggressive" checkering in their "full coverage" pattern a while back. They arrived on Saturday but I didn't like the way the olive-gray color looked on the Kimber.
Took the grips out to the shop, media blasted them lightly with aluminum oxide, cleaned them and then shot them with a few light coats of Norrell's flat tan moly resin. I think the results are pretty sharp looking.
