    Beltfed,

What is the story behind those Baers?
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

a local guy installed some novak sights, beaver tail, magwell, thumb saftey, trigger and did some trigger work, my friend got the duracote(blue and black) done for me,it started off life bright stainless.II put a dragon fire guiderod and spring in it which made a big difference think I just descided I dont like the stack mainspring housing so that will be getting swapped out.It shoots whatever I put in it.I almost forgot my new, warthog grips from Larry Davidson, who I'd reccomend deaing with. I like it.

The one on the left is a Baer TRS, the one on the right is a Brown Blued EE.

Both great production out of the box pistols that were worth every penny. Ive been through a lot of 1911s and these are the first two that I dont feel any need or desire to change anything but the slim TRS grips.

    Thanks for asking.

It appears to be the one from 511 tactical with the ballistic calculator feature. Not mine, just recognize it from the catalog.

For me it has been a long time coming. Way in the back of my mind I have had a nagging for a Springfield Pro and I finally picked it up today. This one is brand new and I haven't even pop'd her cherry yet. I am extremely impressed with this pistol and can't wait to break her in. Also Pictured is my Emdom TNT bag. I love this bag, it is my EDC bag and perfect for my needs.

    RIP Walter Birdsong
