Citadel 1911 - made under the Armscor banner. She ain't the prettiest girl at the dance, but I have yet to run into a reason to distrust the pistol.

ETA: The gun isn't loaded in this pic. The mag in the pistol is empty and was put into place as a reference for my dad who was interested in the CMC Power Mags and how they fit.

Evening Gents. Been a lurker, figured might as well post one. Just a plain vanilla S&W. She does have a new set of internals, but nothing fancy. Nice fourm and some great looking 1911's.

A 1911 should pretty much always be photographed cocked and locked, with a mag (empty mag) inserted. You did the right thing.

Comp from the top. Grooves cut to match those that were already in the slide. Lots of work into this gun.....!

The comp from the front. The holes are again, to get some weight out and for styling. They emulate my '90's bowling pin guns, where the front baffle was screwed in and had multiple holes for a custom spanner. The front face is polished so you can see the grain of the Damascus if you look closely.

All I can say to that is WOW, freaking beautiful beyond words, very nice job and thanks for sharing. One of the nicest 1911's I have seen, how does it perform?

I gave my TRS a subtle makeover today...

Shortened thumb safety & re-blued, blued hammer, hit the serrations on the trigger pad with some 2000 grit sanding paper.
