He sent me an old Colt GI frame and a new, in-the-wrapper Colt GI contract slide. He wanted front cocking serrations added but other than that, it's an "old style" MEU(SOC) replica with a Bar Sto barrel.

Here's a pic of my USPSA Limited gun. It was built by Tim Bacus of Bacus Custom. I added the Dawson ICE magwell and front sight, undercut the triggerguard and stippled the grip myself.
It's a STI full frame 2011.

A $10 soldering iron mounted in a vise. I seperated the plastic from from the metal receiver. It took me about 2hrs to grind the grip down and stipple it. I wanted the grip a little smaller like the SVI Scott grip. But those cost $160 and up.
Two weeks ago at Summer Blast 2006 in York, PA. This is before the grip work and ICE magwell.
