All of the 1911's are in carry rotation except for the Ruger SR1911. It has a full-house custom job by John Harrison. I sent the original grip medallions to Sarge in Phoenix, and he inlaid them in a set of exhibition grade Desert Ironwood for me. I ran 200 through it for functionality, cleaned it and put it in the safe. Mr. Harrison was nice enough to provide a letter of provinance stating it was his first Ruger conversion. Per his website, Ruger is not on his list of manufacturers that he works with. I lived close to him and he asked me to bring it by. Six months later ...

Well, I've had a rogers, a berryhill, two wilsons, and one ed brown, and a shot and carried them all extensively. I sold the rogers and the berryhill to my regret. I've got a MARS on the way. gonna work that one as hard as I can.
