Had a buddy coat my SA Range Officer for me while I was teaching a class on his range this weekend. Told him I wanted something visually similar to a Colt Special Combat from the 1980s. I think he did a good job on it.

Yes. It's my favorite firearm and was a gift from my wife. I may send it back to the Custom Shop someday for a bit of massaging, but it doesn't need anything. I love how it flies under the radar. It's a very high quality 1911, but no one really looks at it because it's only a Springfield...lol.
