Not as cool as the newer custom 1911's here, and pretty beat up, but still a good shooter. Late 90's Para P14.45 Signature worked over by Aaron Harris of Smoking Hole Pistols (did raceguns back in the day). He really did a nice job of narrowing and blending the beaver tail and safety, and a few other touches here and there.
Old-school Bo-mar sights with thin front sight blade and grip tape. I've had this for a long time and decided to start shooting it again. Recently replaced the aging original grips with VZ grips, installed a EGW thick flange barrel bushing, and Wilson slide stop.
Nice.
Had a similar one in the day.
There's a few guys down South that still run those. One guy has one that's 38 open gun and it actually runs. The few others are 45s and don't usually make it through a match without a minor hangup.
