d90king, as much as I love looking at that stunning Harrison 1911, you need to take some new/current pics. Show us some bluing wear and gun powder residue.

I dont carry it because of its finish but I have just under 2700 rounds through it. It shoots like my Baers with the Kart barrel . John is building me a "hard use" gun built on a SS Colt Series 70. It will be finished w/ a IonBond slide and HC frame it will be one of my carry pistols. It should be done in the next 6 months......... John now has a 4 to 5 year wait for 'full house" pistols.............

I will take some new pics of the WWI after a range session........

Videcki Flat Trigger, MARS Golfball mainspring housing w/ Internal lanyard loop and FLAT bottom VCD grips

Grips were custom done by David @ VCD. These are the FLAT & untappered for the Mag Well etc. FAR better than Gunner's.

Steve M. @ MARS did the work. Impeccably executed.

That is GORGEOUS! Glad to hear you're happy with his work, as I'm waiting on an LMT 16" from Steve with some of his custom work applied. I'm anxious to get it. I also must say that Steve is an all-around good guy, friendly and willing to talk for awhile (if he has the time.)

Definetly a pssion & beyond for me.

Lots of years defining and refining my tastes to determine what works...

Steve does superb work no doubt.

MARS is doing another 1911 currently for me that will be the HEAT.

NOTE to self: Be patient, just a few more weeks.
