Agreed. I saw one of IG's lowers last year. I didn't realize how nice they were until I saw it in person and the logo looks nice and clean to me.

I need a 16 inch midlength barrel, pretty serious about the Sionics 16 inch lightweight melonite. Will it run a stock A5 system?

Yes it will, I have one setup like that and it runs like a champ. Accuracy is very good too.

Here's a video of Marcus Luttrell and Ron Bellan (Navy SEAL Master Chief retired) shooting the Axelson Tactical "AXE" Special Purpose Rifle.

That's outstanding. I assume this had the A5 system like the normal Sionics format rifle has?

Yes, but it is totally different from any other stuff we are doing. When I put this together it was to modernize the SPR concept so to speak with newer stuff like low pro gas blocks, longer rails, etc...We also wanted it to be unique.

We also wanted to use certain components of old and new like the SOPMOD, the Gunfighter grip with it's HK-esque look, etc...

All the specs are available on the www.axelsontactical.com website.

Mission accomplished. I really like the look and it is sure to be both more reliable and function better.

It's also really nice to see that Marcus can still put a halfway decent group together.
