    Don't know of the "hack" in Martinsville you speak of. I just remember seeing this can awhile back.

    I think it was supposedly a good can made by a good guy but wasn't welded- might have been an experiment. not quite sure...

    Can you measure the tubing thickness?

    Maybe it broke on the seam of welded-seamed tubing?

    Is it 303 stainless?
