fwiw I recall seeing in a vid on youtube the shooter was running the srs with flip covers, so if I had to wager the threads are related.

Ill see if I can dig up the video

edit* vid in question and I stand corrected. That is not a flip cover so ???

My guess is that the SRS will give people with astigmatism less issues than say an Aimpoint or EOTech.

Yeah, I feel like there should be a name for those of us RDS Challenged individuals... I guess I have the new ADD (Astigmatism Dot Disorder) and couple that with my CED (Cursed Eye Disease, i.e. cross eye dominance) I might be a variable optic guy soon if this new contraption doesn't help

Sold my beloved M4S today... hoping for some miracle cure as being a Corneal Leper is getting old

Have you ever thought about the Trijicon RMR (dual power models)? They are basically like a Reflex or ACOG and you should be fine with those (is what I am running on my pistol).

On the RMR Dual the smallest dot is 7 MOA and amber. I do not do amber well and I need 2 MOA. I'll wait and see how the SRS works ;-)

I originally used the Reflex RXO6 with amber triangle and then amber chevron. Amber was miserable for me, but the triangle/chevron was OK. I liked the Donut of Death on the Acog and would really prefer a horseshoe reticle with a 1moa dot in red in a 1x4 or 1x6 (or just a very crisp 2moa dot again )

When I fondled SRS @ IWA2012, I did not notice dot to be any better than my usual "comet" I got from Aimpoint M4S. T1 4MOA works better for me.
