    This looks great. I am impressed with many of MI's recent introductions, particularly the generation-2 drop in and free float drop in rails.

    Do you guys have a release date for the midlength version? Looks like the perfect drop in for a lightweight build im finishing up. Also how many rails come with the handguard? All four or sections ect...

    The Mids are running next week so I would say three weeks max for those. Each hand guard comes with three rail sections in your choice of color as shown above.

    The mid length is exactly what I have been looking for. I am spoiled by my small diameter free float gun. I am looking forward to purchasing one.

    I got a few pics of a midlength one on my phone to share with you guys.
    I threw it on the scale and I think you will be impressed. With no rails it is only 7.2oz this is lighter than the MOE hanguard as well as the standard plastic handguard.

    Is there anything to stop the 3-slot rail sections from rotating? It looks like they're held in by a single bolt.
