Any input on this book: Quantitative Ammunition Selection

I haven't heard of Mr. Schwartz prior, and I was wondering if anyone (In particular Dr. Roberts) knows anything about him. The book is only $3.99 on the Kindle, so I may pick it up regardless.

    Zhuk-

Just wondering- did you ever get the book?

    If you did, thoughts?

I have read the book and find it quite interesting. The author builds on the work of Fackler and Hatcher and I believe is trying to show through mathematical formulas that you can accurately predict how a bullet will perform through various intermediate barriers by only firing it in water. The predictions are then compared against published test data and if I am reading the text correctly, r= +0.94.

I cannot comment on the formula's as they are over my head.

The formulas in Duncan McPherson's book were also over my head. I suspect I would have the same problem with this book also.

Fortunately, the charts explained quite well what he was saying. It is not his fault that I am innumerate. I can look at charts however.

I think I might give this book a try.
