Well I thought I had it the way I wanted it but then I got another BCM upper. This time with a DD rail.I'm satisfied with 2 of them but experimenting yet with the rifle length one yet. I put the vltor rail on it for now. Other then the way it looks do you see any problems keeping it that way?

I would not think that it is a good idea to keep your gas tube exposed. I would sell or trade your midlength rail for anything that was rifle length. If you were to touch that gas tube after an extended range outing I think you would regret it!

Your first rendition with the green Magpul furniture was a fine basic, no-frills setup to which I would've only added a light.

The second setup was nice but the only thing I would've done was move the vertical grip further forward. I would be curious how that aimpoint worked with the BUIS. It looks like it was a lower 1/4 witness.

The CASV-M on a rifle length looks dumber than 'tarded. Pure and simple. That said, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for the time being.

    1/3 co-witness
when used like it was on the casv-m
Now its in the upper part of the ampoint on the DD rail. I could use the spacer but I like the aimpoint as low as possible on the rail.

Do you happen to know what the co-witness is with the QRP2 mount either with or without the spacer?
