    Excuses Used....

...To not Exercise. What's yours again?

Some inspiring SOBs right there who show us the human spirit can prevail... Next time I/you/we start a thought as to why we "can't" get in a workout, think what some overcome and get errr done.

    One more for ya:

Truly makes me ashamed I haven't worked out in so long...I'm still recovering from breaking my femur in October but I'm almost to the point where I can push it harder now. Looking forward to losing all this extra weight I've gained lol

I used to make so many excuses not to work out, but I'm so glad I stopped doing that and got fit. Believe me gentleman, nothing tastes as good as looking good! No amount of tv and Cheetos will satisfy you like looking in the mirror at your new six pack and big arms!

(you have to do more than beach muscles to be really fit btw)

Slightly off tangent Will but I have a question:

How do you handle times when you are unable to work out, due to injuries or illness?

I'm dealing with a fractured ankle, bruised lung and injured finger that makes gripping difficult. I've been spending way too much time online and watching C-Span and feel like a bum and stir crazy (driving is a pain as its my right ankle thats jacked)

I stepped on the scale this morning and confirmed losing 13lbs since late March. I have always worked out at the gym and been very active with my family. I just cut back on my beer intake, watched more carefully what and when I eat and had a mental "I am going to do this attitude". I had to send my USGG warhog belt back to Robert to get it swapped out for a small belt (for NO charge!) Weight reduction is awesome stuff!

It is not that I do not workout just getting to the 5 miles a day is a little difficult. I do run 4 on the weekends but during the week it is 3 a day since I have limited time to do school, decompress from work, and need to do the weights and I hate running in the dark.

Right now I am at Resere A/T so workouts in the morning then work from 9am-11pm then I get some kind of sleep until 530 PT....
