BCM Gunfighter MOD2 Modular Pistol Grip

Thought I would share a little pre-SHOT BCM goodness with everyone. This is a pre-production sample that just happened to arrive unexpectedly before SHOT. This is the new BCM Gunfighter MOD 2 modular pistol grip. Each grip comes with the two front modular inserts just like the MOD 0/1 grips. There are also 3 different modular back straps that slide down onto each grip. When the back strap is in place, it follows the contour of the textured part of the grip. It still retains the storage compartment and the grip circumference and feel is like that of the recently released MOD 3.

Since this is a pre-production sample there is always the possibility of something being tweaked and changed. Here are some shots of it as well as one that I installed in place of the MOD 0 I had on there previously. I prefer the feel of the MOD 3 style grip.

The last picture is the FDE grip with foliage green back strap and front insert in place.

Slick. I've always been a no backstrap guy but this seems like a good way to test out some different backstraps without throwing away money.

I like how you mixed the two colors to show how the parts fit together. The Mod 3 is my favorite grip, too, but I look forward to giving a production model a try.

I have been considering a new grip to replace the A2 on my sr-15. I have really big hands. Is the mod 2 wih large backstrap as big is as the mod3? Do you know which one would give a farther distance drone the trigger?

Outstanding. I've been waiting for these! I like the backstrap options, but want to replace my MIADs with with these due to the grip angle.

The MOD 2 grip is as thick as the MOD 3. I suspect that the MOD 2 will fit you better than most.

I had the BCM Mod 1 grips and replaced them with the Magpul K2's. If you like the MIAD's but want a better grip angle, you might want to try the K2's.

Very slick IG. thanks for the pics.

I'm interested to see a comparison of the new grip side by side with an Umbrella grip.

The MOD 2 hasn't been released. You must have meant another.
