I've had numerous pmag issues with LMT lowers, but never Noveske. I have seen (and owned) several slightly wonky Noveske lowers, though.

We're also waiting to see how our Noveske gen2 lowers handle the 3rd gen PMAGs once those hit market.

fwiw, my gen2 Noveske lower drops empty PMAGs free just fine. Upper on that one is BCM.

Okay, I am not trolling. But with all of the talk of this rifle is crap and these are uber awesome. I find it funny when it's a favored brand, nobody points that out on the "list". I just get a kick out of the brand bashing/loyalty that is prevalent in the numerous gun forums. I love the Black Rifle, and am loyal to no brand.

I'll make a mental note that some Noveske & LMT lowers has had issue's with PMAG's.

Who makes the Noveske lowers? I have read it was CMT. Still the case?

p mags are one of the top mags, but with that said, Magpul has done such things as change follower designs ( New follower doesn't come up as high as the old one and some guns may not lock open on the last shot). The thicker 'Ribs" on the back of the mags that seem to be causing the issue on this post.
I hear they are coming out with a 3rd generation design and let's hope this is the Fix.
For my latest build I went with Bravo company mags. Made by D&H and have the Magpul anti tip follower. Brownells also makes a top magazine.

I hope those in the know understand that I am not trolling with this comment.

...but I can't help but notice the "My Model 1 Sales has this problem" answers are always "Get rid of that POS" yet when its "My Noveske has the same problem" answers are always file the magazine, don't shoot WOLF, etc etc.

    Just an observation.

I had a new gen 1 Novekse lower that wouldn't drop any mags free (colt 20rd, pmag previous gen 30rd/20rd, gi mags.) A quick email to Noveske and they said send it in, and sent me a brand new lower that is perfect. Total time without the lower was probably a week if I remember right. They were kinda slow to answer my email, so I'd suggest calling if you are in a hurry, I wasn't so the 3-4 days for them to answer my email was no big deal.
