love the rail, starts getting really hot at 100+ rounds but other then that its great, very light weight.

And that right there may have just turned me away from the NSR. I put lots of rounds downrange when I shoot, I don't want something that will get too hot to handle since I don't wear gloves. Maybe I will wait to hear about how effective the heat shield is.

Hopefully when the rail covers come available it will solve the issue

Good looking rig. When you say hot after 100 is it extreme or just a noticeable heat that you can withsatand or do you have to wait til it cools before more rounds?

I have to wear a glove, but it could be that the barrel is a medium contour or could be the material the barrel is made of, it's a stainless steel barrel, I love the rail, it different, light weight, I don't mind wearing a glove but for others it's might be a deal breaker
