"KEEP CALM and RETURN FIRE"

I could care less about 1 pistol honestly. But as someone who was in charge of an entire company's EDL in Afghanistan including weapons, comm, vics, and everything else that can possibly get miscounted on multiple Positions I would have absolutely hated that guy. I know for a fact it would have thrown my counts off by 1 every single time.

What are you guys talking about? How long do you think his finger is? The tip of his finger is resting on the lower receiver, outside of the trigger well, directly underneath the magazine release.
Do you realize how long his finger would have to be if it was curved around the trigger? Do you realize how far back the trigger sits from the center-line of the magazine release?
I can see why you think there's something wrong, but it's an optical illusion.

This is a matter of semantics, but same gun, different guy. Oh and the N9889 or whatever number is the first letter of his last name and the last four of his social. In the .mil that is your personal identifier. Mine was M5347. You pretty much put that on everything you own.
Regardless if the upper is sub-standard or as good as or exceeds standard, it is not standard issue. If something goes wrong during a mission, investigators finding out an unauthorized upper was used could result in a severe shitstorm affecting not just the career of Pvt. Snafu for having it, but also the careers of his leaders and squadmates as well
