Unboxing Reveals the Nanny State - VIDEO

And here is what you get from Beretta when you buy a model 92 series handgun. The pistol comes covered with oil, which you have to clean off before you shoot it. Do as I say, not as I did. <g>

The interesting thing is the junk they have to put in the box to satisfy the nanny states of the People's Republic of California and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which insists on . . . . well, just watch.

Seems to be the norm. I just picked up a new G19 which was shipped in it's oversized safety sticker covered case containing:

    • gun
    • 3 magazines
    • mag loader
    • extra backstraps
    • rod and brush
    • envelope with fired cases
    • cable lock
    • envelope containing user manual, NRA ad, GSSF ad, Mass warning, safety brochure, market survey, safety awareness form

I'm going to toss everything but the gun and magazines. I wish they could just ship the gun and 3 mags in the old tupperware box, sans everything else.

I hang on to everything and remove only the pistol and mags. One never knows if one might need to sell one's pistol and thus, it is good to keep all the "junk" ...

I wanted to try using the word "one" several times.

Is the Cali-certified lock good to go in the other 49 states?
