Rifle mag storage boxes at Costco

Wife picked up some storage boxes at Costco that caught my eye, as I needed to find a replacement for the ratty cardboard boxes that are currently housing my rifle mags, and the ones at Target are always too short or too tall.

they're called "Snapware" and come in 3-packs for $16.99. Looks like they'll hold ~40 x 30rd AR mags. AK mags will not stand straight up but you can lay them down. They're stackable, with a carry handle. Item # is 228371 but they are not on the Costco website.

    Two snaps up!!!

    Good info-

Would it be possible to post a pic of these boxes- as I am far more likely to find something I am looking for if I know what it is that I am "looking" for .

I knew you guys would want photos.

This should give you an idea of size. I threw the "River Rock" LED lantern from Target in there because it's a kickass $20 piece of gear.

I use these for mag storage at home and other items in my garage, they're Contico TuffCrate 12 gal plastic boxes also from Costco

Thanks for the heads up, I might take a look at my local Costco for those smaller box for storing my other smaller AR parts.

Thanks for the tip. They also have similar 44 quart storage boxes that come two in a package.

I just use these NOD cans. They're more tactical than tupperware!

(excuse the shitty pic and nasty flooring... it's an old image)

What works for one may not work for someone else and vice versa. I'll use ammo cans for ammo in the garage. I wanted something that fits as many mags as possible with the smallest, lightest footprint and can fit on my shelves.
