Crazy! Incidents like this are precisely why I switched to 9mm carry guns. More capacity.

It's common knowledge that one .45ACP to the arm will literally take your arm off.

I thought it was 1 hit from a 45 and you were vaporized. Literally just a pair of smoking shoes left....

I'm sure the BG was a fine upstanding law abiding citizen. Another POS coming to the unarmed State of Illinois to conduct his business. I guess he forgot that while us citizens of Illinois can't carry, the police still can. Glad to know he met up with a well trained officer that was willing to have it out with him, instead of watching the victim list on the local news.

What? Pistol calibers suck? Shot placement is king?? Who knew!

Time to hit the range and shoot more bullseye targets folks.

I wonder if the officer was loaded with hollow points or ball ammo. Just curious..

This for real sure reinforces shot placement.

The citizen watching this happen and "cheering" the Officer on. Too bad he lives in a fire-arm unfriendly location, otherwise he could done more then just cheer the Officer on.
Winning may not be everything, but the endorsements are better.
