That is too bad. You may want to wait on this decision with the new batch of AUG A3s hitting dealers' shelves now.

The 552/553 mount is a new item I take it? If you are going to d/c these I will need to call and order a few before they are gone.

Thank you for being available to answer questions on this forum.

We are doing new adapters for the AUG.

What adapter were you looking at for the SIG? I will see if it is on the to be cut list.

What gen of FA762K do you have? Does the latch lock onto the back section and not the teeth on the adapter.
The newer model with the teeth on the can. It kinda clicks onto the 762 adapter, nothing on the 556 version.

We would be more than happy to take a look at it. If you call CS and get a RMA we can make sure you get the audible clicks. Turn around time is a day or two.

    Hey there Garin,

I recently ordered a FA556AR from you guys, and had a few questions relating to the new line/adapters:

    1. Do you plan on making another over-the-barrel design in your SOCOM line? I love the reduced length they provide.

    2. Are adapters for the FA556AR considered "odd-ball" or will they continue after December 1st? I too am trying to keep my suppressor use consistent across all my rifles and may need to buy a few more mounts if they're getting clipped.

No the SOCOM series technology will not be passed down to the over the barrel designs. The FA556AR is not on the cut list at this time but could be the 1st quarter of 2013. Right now I do not have the adapters on the discontinue list.

Does this mean there's a chance we can get a next generation FA556AR that runs a shorter baffle stack as an option?

Like DPM stated, the reduced OAL is great, but something with the back baffle stack off a Micro or Mini on that mounting system would have made me commit to all SF cans years back.

Thanks Garin, it is the SF3P-556-M14X1 LH adapter.

I just noticed the fine print on the right side of the page regarding it being a non-stocked minimum order item. I suppose the SF3P-762-M14X1 LH will work as well.

I have an FA556AR and really wish I'd bought the K at the time.
