    What Mags for bench shooting???

I'm looking for recommendations for what mag to buy for shooting off the bench. I only have 30 rounders and the banana clip interferes with getting low on a rest. I'm searching for a quality 5 round flush mag or something of that sort.

    All input is appreciated...BEWW

Have you tried a 20rd mag, they seem to work out just fine for most.

I've got an old colt 20rnd mag that I use from the bench. You may be able to find a 5 round hunting mag that will work for you.

Take a minute and remove this from your vocabulary: "banana clip"

    I use 20 round mags.

I have 20rnd PMags and while others have had some issues, mine have been trouble free. From the bench, it isn't a big issue anyway. YMMV.

they fit, nearly, flush with the bottom of the mag well...

I have plenty of 20rd pmags, but I also have had good luck with the handful of c-products 20rd magazines with magpul followers that I have. You can find them around the internet for around $9.

I have a C Products 20 rnd mag with grey magpul followers that I use for bench shooting.

I know some people don't like C Products though.

Sorry Gents, didn't realize BC wasn't PC. Guess it was a generational thing.
