I have a Surefire MB556-sb on a MK18, it does rattle the fillings in your teeth, if you are going to mount a suppressor go with which ever fits your flavor of can, if your not going to mount a can then Im with the majority, BattleComp cant be beat..However if you were looking into an AAC can I think there maybe something from the creative minds at BCE that will mount AAC cans not sure which models but I have seen some pictures floating around

I run a Battlecomp 1.0 on two different 11.5 SBRs. The only thing I can compare it it to is an FSC556 and I've found the BC to be as effective and less blasty. I have had people I shoot with tell me they feel the concussion more than an A2, but I don't really shoot at night, rarely shoot indoors, and wear ear protection, so I have no real issues with compensators on SBRs.

Yeah the last thing I want is to buy a muzzle device, and take away the fun of blasting As I mentioned before, I just never had any experience with a 7.5" and a muzzle brake before.

I have all of the BCs in every flavor. I've also had just about everything else. The BC is great for what it's designed for.

Every device has a specific purpose and every device is a compromise/trade-off to the other purposes.

The BC is a nice compromise between concussion and recoil management.

It is not the best concussion management device because that is what a pure flash hider is (not a comp/brake.)
It is not the best recoil management because that is what an open brake is.

People say "My FSC556 managed recoil better than the BC I tried, therefore the FSC556 is better." It drives me nuts. I have used FSC556's and while they do an ok job at managing recoil and flash, they are very concussive and don't manage recoil as well as a true open brake like a SureFire or SJC Titan brake. Again, not bashing the FSC556 and not saying it's great, it's just another tool in the toolchest for a particular purpose. Decent recoil management with some FH capabilities. Rainier Arm's XTC Comp actually seemed to be slightly better at both on my guns. I did many extensive tests when the XTC first came out as I was running PWS556's at the time.

The point is, PICK THE TOOL FOR THE JOB.

And keep in mind, while comps can be extremely concussive and loud, if you fire a 5.56 weapon inside your house, comp or no comp, you're going to lose some hearing regardless, unless you have earpro or a supp.

Yeah I think I will go ahead and get a B.C and try it out. If it doesn't work out I can always sell it.

I ran a BattleComp on an 11.5" barrel for one range session, then switched back to a "Levang linear compensator", which is not quite as effective as a "brake" as the BattleComp, but is no more offensive than an A2. MUCH cheaper, too. It works sort of like a Noveske PIG, but is only about the size of an A2.

Did the Noveske KX3 do anything muzzle rise wise, or just push concussion forward?
