3 - I wasn't allowed to use "Multi" as the caliber listed anymore. I had to state the specific caliber that it's going on immediately. If I wish to use another upper, I have to send in another form & have the additional caliber listed when that decision is made.
    1. Which 2 spots?

    2. When I did the research to do my first 2 SBR's I was using TOS, and pretty much everyone there said the same thing: 4.A, the name of the actual manufacturer of the lower went in that spot, and your trust name went under 4.h Additional Description

    3. 4.c Caliber Gauge, or Size (Specify)
Pretty much the same.. The primary cal. of the upper to be used..

If you decide to throw a .22, or 300BLK on there to play with, you can. However, if it is a permanent change, you need to inform them by mail so they can update the records...

I did these almost 2 years ago, and the only SNAFU was on my part by not 'funding' the trust. Mr. Pickles called me, and I faxed over a 'funded' copy of my Schedule the same day, and he had my F1's to me within the next week..

But, we shall see what happens with the one I just sent in 3 weeks ago. Same Trust, so we will see what happens..

    1 - 4D & 4H

For the rest, I don't know what to tell you. That's what I was told to do (differently). Also, the "multiple" under caliber was a big deal, unless I listed the additional caliber with them.

Also, I called today & I got the "second" pending date today as well. I asked about it & was told that it means that it's officially on the examiners desk now & will be approved within 30 days from the second approval date.

Well, I guess we can add another line to the data in the NFA transfer time thread...
I didn't build this post. Somebody else made that happen.

4d is the block that requires the model, and 4h is additional description, so I have no idea why they would ask you to list the model under 4h.

As I said, the caliber thing as been discussed for a long time, and the consensus was to list the primary, and not worry unless you were making a permanent change of caliber.

I don't recall if it was asked, but who is the examiner handling your paperwork?

And when you say you were told to do it differently, do you mean by the examiner, or someone helping you with the paperwork?

By the examiner. The current examiner is Pickles, but the previous was Frushour.

So Frushour told you that these items needed to be changed?

If so, that might be why Pickles now has the paperwork..
