    Which Form For Moving?

Moving across country so need to send in form for SBR/change of address. I've done this before, but cannot find the form at all on the ATF website. Anyone that can find it gets a hug and a kiss; from Gunz.

How's that form for moving? It's the compliance form. I thought you simply had to write them a letter stating your new location, or am I off base on this?

Had to double check as I have been ****ing waist deep in forms lately.

    Nope I was correct

    ATF 5320.20
    Application to Transport Interstate

When you move(before you move) you fill out the form and check the box that says you will not be returning the items to the original address.

The compliance form is the 5330.20

Thanks! I missed the 5330 v/5320. Google failed me on that one, it "thought" it knew what I wanted to find lol

I just got short notice orders and am hustling to get this filled out and sent in.

thanks all, good to know, as I am house hunting myself.

But is it just a letter sent in to ATF for making a change to the firearm?
For instance changing the barrel length or caliber. Etc

rjacobs- Thanks for the help. I should have known that.

Now, when do you want IG's kiss and hug? He may be in A'stan right now so you'll have to wait.

If you are moving permanently out of state to another it was my understanding you did the 5320 and that was all. Are you moving for good? Or is this for traveling/ whatever scenarious.

step on your toes here IG but you are correct. I did a perm. move last year (1 state to another) & submitted the 5320.20 in duplicate, marked them as a permanent move & that is all. FWIW I just sold a can recently that was 1 of the items on the 5320.20 & it was approved just fine, the buyer has it in his possession now.

Somewhat related here, I made several copies of the above mentioned 5320.20s to carry w/ my old F4s, as they have my old address from my previous state. The original F4 address will always be there & didn't want a LEO to have any issues w/ the different addresses, HTH.

Sorry for any toe stepping here IG, just my .02
