quick question to Jason: what distances are we going to be shooting at and what zero do you recommend for this course?

Hopefully I'm not stepping out of my lane on this one, but I just completed a RedbackOne Basic Carbine class a few hours ago. 50 yard zero is what Jason teaches. Do everyone a favor and have your carbine zeroed prior to the class. Use a prone position, with your magazine as a monopod. This is the way it will be done in class. Many, including myself, did not have our zero dialed in this way at our class and it slowed things down greatly.

thanks for the reply. all my RDS guns are zeroed at 50. 1-4 scoped guns at 100. BUIS matches the optic.

what was the max distance you shot during this course?

It's going to be range dependent. We were lucky enough to have a 200 yd. range available to us and we shot out to 200 to see where we impacted.

ra2bach, If I didnt already make plans to stay at a friends house in Conyers, I would offer to carpool with you. See you at the class.
