Finns cleared the table at the IPSC European Rifle Championships

Well, the Finns cleared the table at the IPSC European Rifle Championships in Bulgaria last week

Top 3 in both Open and Standard, both team golds then also.

Also Standard Junior & Senior and Open Junior gold.

I was in the running for 3rd/4th place in Open, however 3 easy/stupid mistakes in the last day bumped me back a few places.

However winning the Open class Shoot Off was a nice way to finish the trip..

Good job on the Open shoot off win. Always good to see shooters from around the work getting to do the things we Americans take for granted.

    Well done.

Will you be at the IPSC World shotgun championships next month?

Also, which Schmidt Bender are you running?

Congrats to you and your teammates!

I am curious, is that a former Bulgarian military base?

I will not be in Hungary, but Finland will have strong representation there.

It is the Short Dot LE ( it is probably some sort of pre production version as it reads Zenith, but has all the SD features )

SeriousStudent; it was a military base with plenty of old equipment & buildings, but I would imagine it is still used for some training.

Tuukka didnt mention it, but by the looks of it, his AR-15 is Finnish made also, UR - Uronen Precision AR-15 type of rifle and i suspect that so is the other Finns rifles too.

Yes, it is an UR-15 from UP.

Some of the other rifles in use by Finnish shooters were also UP, but it really is a mix of factory rifles and rifles assembled from components.
