    Whatever Happened to the Magpul FMG9

    Yea, just curious if this ever made it out of the prototype stage?
    Did it ever make it into production even in limited numbers for personal security or SOF?

    My guess is that a conversion kit requiring $200 of tax stamp for a $400 pistol in addition to the cost of the kit and weaponlight wouldn't line up really well with enough of the market to spend the millions that would be required in R&D to make it work.

    The airsoft PTS versions are awesome, but no tax stamps are required since they only work with airsoft guns, and even those are very niche guns.

    The FMG9 never held much interest for me, the Magpul 5.56 PDR on the other hand, I would love to see produced.
