    Leupold VX-6 1-6 Multigun

I did a search and didn't find a thread about this optic. This looks like what most of us in the low-power variable world have been waiting for. What do you guys think:

The SPR reticle is not what I want for any application.
Lots of ways for them to make this a winner though.

    Why not the SPR reticle?

I'm not overly impressed with the SWFA reticle or weight, though the relatively low pricetag is attractive. I'm not bashing SWFA in any way, I have been a happy user of their 1-4 since it was released.

I want a Mil based reticle for use with measurements/holds of way less than 2.5 Mil increments.

No. These upper end optics have a pretty good eye-box for practical use. There is a reason that the low powered variable and the TA11 rule tactical class.
