CADEX a Canadian Defence manufacturer is producing it. It looks pretty sweet, I'm not sure if/when it will be available in the States as we haven't been given any dates for it's availability up here yet in The Great White North.
Canadian Black Rifle Mag got the inside scoop from One Shot Tactical.

It's the RACS chassis.
Hasn't hit the market yet...if it ever will.
A Remington customer service rep told be you could probably order it on a rifle through the Remington Custom shop......good luck if you can get a hold of the custom shop guy...it seems like there's only one gunsmith and never answers the phone nor calls you back. Even then, he'd probably tell you it's a no-go.

As mentioned it is being manufactured by CADEX, and One Shot Tactical will be taking pre orders up here in Canada soon.

Maybe someone can explain it to me but why would one want to raise their optic that high?
Im not sure why one would want to that intentionally. You can create a 20/30/40 MOA base rail without raising the height over bore so much.....

I think it looks high due to the angle of the rail. Not sure what MOA that rail is though.

A Remington CS rep told me I would he out around fall in 2011 at $600. I guarantee you it's probably going to run close to $1600.
I wouldn't bet on that info though.

Sorry for now it has been removed, the dealer who released this information ran into some legal issues with CADEX. They nicely asked us to remove the information until further notice. From what I've been told One Shot Tactical will be distributing the .50 cal version only.
