    Bowen conversion

    Ruger Speed Six converted to DAO 9x23 by Hamilton Bowen along with his custom sights and finish

    That looks great. He bead blasted the finish. Did he open up the rear channel? I wonder what finish he used for the rear channel.

    Overall it looks really good. Let us know how it shoots when you get the chance.

    The rear sight notch has a cerakote treatment and is square and did not require alteration.

    Standard action and trigger tune. (which includes Wolff spring kit)

    Shot it a bit with the 9x19 being quite comfortable and 9x23 (@1450 fps)were comforting.
    (Mr. Bowen had relayed to me that he was impressed with the accuracy after test firing)

    Hope to ring it out this weekend.
