    I don't understand, why 9x23 is better than 357mag.

Not better. (less muzzle blast and recoil though)
This round is used in autoloaders to duplicate .357 ballistics.(10 rounds of .357 power in a 1911)
I like 9mm revolvers and this is just an evolution of that preference.
Also, the conversion lets me shoot about a half dozen calibers.

That is a pretty sweet gun! Those Pachmyer grips are THEE best I've found.

OK, I'm going to ask a dumb question so please be gentle. What additional calibers will it shoot now?

I was thinking of what a handy gun to have in certain situations. If you had the ability to fire a number of different rounds it would make the gun very versatile if the need arose where you might have to scrounge or barter for ammo. I’ve always had a thing for revolvers and yours is outstanding.

Truly original and I'd love to shoot it. Thanks for posting.

Matt, do you have a before pictures? Also, did it start out as a .357 or a 9mm?

    I'm going to bet .380, 9x19, 9x23, .38 Super, .38 Spec & .357???

That's a beauty - I have a Service Six that I've been thinking of having round-butted, maybe I should think of a conversion like this also!

Yes I have a before pic that I'll post when I find it.
